Positive thinking - an effort?

Positive Thinking

“A vigorous or determined effort”- sounds good, but you’ve either got it or you havent. How do you get it? You don’t buy it, you don’t ask for it, you don’t go look for it. You can go here, there, and everywhere, in search of it - you will always come back to… your own SELF. It is to do with CHOICE - belief in one’s self and the knowledge and assurance that you have an unformidable power within - that’s where you look! That’s where you reach deep inside, pull it out, activate it, fan the flame, light it up, take hold of it - internal self-belief at its core.

Its like breathstroke: you’ve got to use your arms and legs, you’ve got to breathe, you’ve got to go under, you've got to come up again, you've got to keep your eyes fixed on what lies ahead, on the finishing line.

It is always with you, everywhere you go - it is who you are. Do some internal breathstroking (or go swimming, and bear this in mind): choose your positive mindset, it becomes who you are, not what you do or struggle and strive for - though there is determined effort in what we believe and do - its all about the inner YOU, who you are in the world, and what you want to be, and how you can impact not only your world, but those around you, in the “bigger” picture.
